COVID- 19- BEST PRACTICES

Cleanliness and hygiene has always been a top priority across all of our properties to ensure both guest and employee safety and satisfaction. In these uncertain times we will continue to adhere to our best practice guidelines and will be led by recognised health organisations, Public Health England and the NHS so that we remain up to date about how we can effectively protect our valued guests.

Here are some of the measures we are taking:

Dedicated house keepers that know our properties- we are fortunate to have ‘in house’ cleaners so they know our properties well, and how best to look after them.
We use foggers to allow larger areas to be sanitised effectively. The products we use are specially formulated to kill harmful bacteria including Coronavirus. This is in addition to our housekeepers cleaning regimes where by we use antibacterial sprays to decontaminate the property. We take extra precaution around door handles, light switches and TV remotes etc.
Supply of contactless antibacterial gel dispensers throughout the properties, along with supplies of antibacterial surface sprays.
Hand washing reminders in high traffic areas.
Linen and towels are hygienically laundered.
Mattress and pillow protectors will be changed and laundered between changeovers.
Unnecessary soft furnishings will be removed for example, sofa cushions, hand towels (replaced with disposable tissues).
We will use a self-check in method whereby guests can ascertain the entry key from a master lock. The code and house welcome info will be sent to you prior to your arrival. A member of our team will be on hand to assist you with any additional support you may need.
Our housekeepers will wear gloves whilst conducting their duties and will change and dispose of them throughout the day.
Our house keepers have designated cleaning areas and responsibilities meaningthat contact and movement between rooms from different people is minimised.

We take our responsibility for providing a safe and hygienic environment for our guests seriously. We politely ask that our guests also play their part whilst staying at our properties:

Antibacterial cleanser is available for you to wipe the entrance door handles upon check in and departure.
There will be contactless hand sanitizers near the entrance to the properties (please ask all of your guests to use these). There will also be hand sanitizers throughout the properties.
Please wash your hands regularly; there will be reminder signs throughout the property.
Please ensure that hard surfaces are wiped down regularly- we will leave suitable products for you to use but you may wish to bring your own provisions too.
We ask that you ensure that bathroom waste bins are emptied in the designated bin before vacating and any waste such as tissues etc. are also discarded of appropriately and hygienically.
We request that guests ensure that all rubbish is placed in the external bins.
You may bring your own bedding & towels to use (we are happy to offer a discount for guests wishing to do this of up to £100 but this would be for all bedding and towels and mean that we will not provide any. Please note we have single beds and super king - we can supply bottom sheets for super king beds)
We ask that guests who use the bedding and towels supplied by our properties strip their own beds prior to check out and place bedding and towels in the laundry bags provided. Please do not shake the bedding as this will increase the risk of potentially dispersing COVID-19 through the air.

We wholeheartedly appreciate that our guests are here for a holiday and we hope that these measures do not appear to be exhaustive during these exceptional times but this is a responsibility we must all bare right now.
